Magic
There are three main concepts to understand when looking at magical abilities a character may have: Sphere, Science, and Power.
The Spheres
The three primary spheres of magic are arcane, primeval, and psionic. They all fall under the broad umbrella of “magic”, but each one exploits a fundamentally different metaphysical system.

Power
Most magical abilities have a Power rating included in their description. Using an ability with a Power rating deals that many d6 in Will stress to the user. This can deal lasting damage if it takes you to 0 Will (or if you’re already at 0), and Will requires a long recovery to be restored to full.
