Fighter Advancements
Fighter Aptitude (360 xp). Your Violence die increases by one step. You can take this advancement multiple times, but its cost doubles each additional time you take it.
Fighter Resilience (40 xp). Your Grit increases by 2. You can take this advancement multiple times.
Fighter Skills (40 xp). You gain competency with a Violence skill of your choice. You can take this advancement multiple times, but its cost is doubled for each additional time you take it.
Archer (100 xp). Choose adversity, cover, or range. When using a bow, any difficulty increase from your chosen condition is reduced by one step. You can take this advancement multiple times, but it must be for a different condition each time.
Bulwark (100 xp). When wearing armor, you gain +1 armor against attack damage.
Defender (100 xp). As a reaction, you can grant the defense bonus granted by a shield you’re wielding to someone adjacent to you.
Duelist (100 xp). When wielding a one-handed weapon, you gain +1 defense against weapon attacks.
Martial Prowess (60 xp). Choose a weapon you’re competent with. As a bonus action, you can add 1d4 to the next damage roll you make with that weapon until the start of your next turn. You can take this advancement multiple times, but it must be for a different weapon each time.
